Links DigiWorks CG Animation Group has been combining its rendering expertise and digital animation technique using key frame and motion capture into the Award winning CG animations. Its excellence are shown through the following titles; "Onimusha; Warlords Opening Movie of PS2" was awarded as the Best of Show at the SIGGRAPH 2000, Computer Animation Festival and received the Platinum Prize of the Best CG Movie at the PlayStation Awards 2001. The motion capture and photo-realistic rendering represents significant advancements in the computer graphics production. The success at using the motion capture of six people to represent violent samurai battle sequences demonstrates a significant level of expertise and excellence in those area. Links DigiWorks also finished its challenges to capture Takeshi Kaneshiro's facial expression and to emulate the hand-held movie camera motion using Vicon8 Motion Capture systems for the intermission and closing movies of "Onimusha: Warlords" (Capcom Co., Ltd. for PlayStation2) which sold more than one million copies worldwide. In the latest opening movies of "Resident Evil" (Capcom Co., Ltd. for Nintendo GameCube), Links DigiWorks captured eyeballs movement and blinking using Eyematic Interfaces' Face Tracker, combined simultaneously with Vicon8 for facial capture. Links DigiWorks also emulated the point-of-view shots of the evil Doberman pinscher attacking using the data of MoCap marker on the dog head, and the attacked soldier's CCD camera view using the marker on the soldier's shoulder.
